On which/what subject were you intending the viewer to focus/concentrate?
Is your first name Abhishek? Could you put it (or whatever it is) in your profile under 'real name' please.
The shutter speed is very slow (1/50s) which will give you blurring. Maybe you wanted that? The Honda is not a good feature (even though it's a Honda). The lady is on the right of the frame walking out to the right, which is disconcerting. I think there are just too many elements in the shot, and as Chris said above, what is the subject? Street is normally best in BW, I find, but with strong vibrant colours as you had here, colour can also work. I'm not sure the cross-processing has worked well though.
That's a lot of criticism (sorry about that). What would I have done?
- Found a similar spot with a good colourful backdrop (but not too cluttered)
- Lost the Honda
- Lost the other people in the shot
- Zoomed in closer on the lady
- Positioned the lady on the left of the frame.
Phew!
Thats a Hyundai, not the good great HondaThe Honda is not a good feature
So yea, its not good
& as for comments on the image... Ditto as experts say. & the focus point seems to have been set on the car, instead of the lady. Colours are too saturated.
If you are from Jaipur, they have a photography club there, I met on my last (& only) visit. Nice people...
But not as good as members we have here on this forum
Welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy here!!!
I can see enormous potential for street images here but I am not a fan of cross-processing. It makes the colour the subject and it competes with the image content.
Rob makes good points and I there appears there is so much colour and pattern around you will have a good time working your way along the street. Try also concentrating on products like those clothes hanging in the background. Filling the frame with them could make a wonderful shot in its own right.
Good colour and contrast, but i think if your using DSLR your shutter is too low.
@Peter Ryan
Thanks for your inputs. I've recently gotten into the habit of post processing and it was just adjusting contrast/balance till now. Found the cross processing tutorial and decided to try it out on one of my shots. Tried it on this one to see if it would improve the shot.
I guess I need to consciously put more thought into the composition before firing away...
You have good image content but the cross processing and color saturation is very excessive for my taste.

It looks like a random shot, there is simply no composition in this photo at all?
What is it that you are actually photographing?
