I prefer the colour version but why cut the feet off ?

Roy many of my dog captures occur at a dog park constant movement and the pics are captured quickly ith little time to make adjustments, external circumstances as I see it,with little control on my part, I than choose the best of the bursts.

If you have to shoot quickly, how about zooming to a shorter focal length to ensure including the whole dog, then crop to frame the image as you wish in PP.

Raymond. Can I suggest that you use a wider angle lens, or shoot from further away.
