Re: Ex Machina
That sky nicely matches the machinery.

Re: Ex Machina
Thanks Geoff - the machinery was planned but the sky was luck!

Re: Ex Machina
I like this better than the original. The original was more a documentation. This is more creative, and almost an abstract.

Re: Ex Machina
Dan - totally agree on both counts. The orignals are record shots of a day out where the main (or only) interest is the venue. "Ex Machina" is interesting in its own right (or at least I think so ).

Well seen and well taken Bill. The B&W works very well here. This is a much more artistic view than the previous images which were good, but more documentary in nature. The sky was quite cooperative as well.
Great shot!

Re: Ex Machina
This is a great image in my estimation. I don't normally like borders in photos but in this case it works well.
Cheers Ole

Re: Ex Machina
Thanks Ole. I'm pretty neutral on borders in general but usually add a small keyline to digitals to separate the image from the background. In this case I finished the edits with a few tweaks in SliverEfex Pro and the border was part of the default for the option where I did the work.
