    Bowens Speedlight Mount

I just purchased a Bowens Speedlight Mount made by Interfit for my two speedlights. I know I can add more accessories to this mount in addition to an umbrella.
If any of you has a mount like this, please let me know what you think of it.

Bowens is a popular mount, even though the Bowens company closed down a few years ago. Godox uses this mount with their studio flashes and light modifiers.

Single speedlights do not put out enough power to use any decent size softboxes, so while you can in theory use them, in practice, it is not all that useful.

Thanks Manfred. For all practical purposes I am planning to use the mounts with umbrellas.

Now that you have bought them, this should work for you, but the standard cold shoe adapters are easier to use and I prefer them when using umbrellas. These mounts take a bit more care in setting up, but will work well with umbrellas. I have both types of mounts.
