How about opening up the shadows in the archway a bit to show the lovely textures that can be see there?

Scenes with extreme brights (the sky that can be seen in the distance) and deep shadows (in the interior) generally need to be "calmed" to create a more interesting image.

Maybe cropped a fraction tight? But possibly you didn't have any other options. Manfred has already tackled my other thoughts.

You are getting into areas of personal taste now.

Not surprisingly, I still find your version too dark. I posted a version that I find works well for me and I want to see all of the textures in the shadow areas, in spite of the bright background and foreground.

Perhaps also tone down the highlights in the scene through the arch, to reduce the dazzle of the sky, and to enhance the patterns in the floor paving.
