I would be tempted to crop a little tighter on the right side. But you don't want to lose anything from the top and bottom so what are the options if you want to have a 'standard size' for your image. 5 x 4 ? Going square might be a bit too much.

The image shows good detail and is neatly executed.....but to me is extremely flat. Nothing stands out.

As a record of the fountain it achieves it's purpose, but as a photograph it fails for me..

Can you return as sunrise or sunset where a bolder image could be obtained ?

Peter, unfortunately I shot this at around noon. I agree with you about the timing of this photo. The location of this shot is not near me, so I probably will not get a chance to photograph this particular scene in the near future.

Bruce, I know that feeling only too well. It is a reason why I now split my "visits" into two categories....if with friends and family during the normal day time I usually take only my cellphone. Otherwise it is a photography trip ....on my own with only camera, lenses and tripod for company.

If like here the subject is not local it can be a tough decision.
