Bruce, I would like to like these shots of an intersting scene but the trees framing the mill wheel (certainly the one on the left) spoil the first image and areas in the second and third seem to have a magenta tinge ("seem" because I don't know what the scene really looked like and the colour may well be accurate)

Yes, I also thought the first two images seemed to be a bit on the magenta side. Only slightly though.

First image, with an intact view of the wheel, looks the best one to me.

With those trees it is bound to be difficult to get a perfect view.
