OK, but I would have a go at selectively darkening the canoeist's neck. This is one of those occasions where I would have shot Raw then created two conversions, one for the water and one for the brightest areas. Then combined the two using layers and masks to create a sort of HDR effect in reverse, which could balance out the extremes without losing detail.
Possibly a slight crop from the top?
