    I like this. However, the lighting is quite harsh. What do you think about toning that down a bit

    Some people like this sort of scene, although it isn't really for me. However, regarding Dan's comment; I would be tempted to slightly tone down just the leaf highlights not the entire image brightness.

    I was thinking about something like this, although with more carefull burning than I did:

    I also boosted texture (local contrast) and saturation in the wood.
