    They look good. There seems to be a lot of fungi around this autumn which is a surprise after such a dry summer.

    Nicely done.

    I prefer the second because of the perspective. The first has the perspective (apart from height) of someone walking by. The second one lets the subject dictate the perspective.

    Thanks Dan and I know what you mean. I chose the prespective for the first one in order to include the arc of brown leaves that toned with the brown on the top of the fungi but there's probably enough brown in the other one.

    Thanks Geoff. I was hoping for some Fly Agaric shots but nary a one to be seem. However there were loads of relatively fresh Incaps.

    Strangely, Bill, at was at a site yesterday where I have never preciously seen a Fly Agaric but this year there were lots around. I have photographed a mixture of fungi but most were in poor condition.
