Off topic, but when my brother was a resident in a hospital with a regional trauma center, they called people like the driver "organ donors".
The image looks interesting but not quite realistic. There is strong motion blur in the foreground and background, but there is no motion blur of the motorcycle wheels. That just makes no visual sense; a shutter speed that is slow enough to show that much motion blur would result some motion of the bike parts and the bike itself.
I also find that your crop is very tight; you need more space on the left side and especially on the right; you need to give the bike some visual space for it to move into.
Good suggestion , Manfred. I will increase the canvas size and try content awareness fill.
The motorcycle was only going about 25mph. The background was boring, with bushes, buildings, and a sign. Not meant to be realistic, just more interesting with the focus on the subject.
All well and good, but if something doesn't look quite right, then people looking at the image are going to notice it and will have a problem with the shot. Creating a "fake" is much more challenging than it looks and the photographer needs to have an incredible attention to detail to pull it off.
Hello Dan
Florida doesn't have a helmet law unless you're a minor. Florida allows you to do many things at your own risk. Like swimming in lakes, rivers, and springs that may likely have alligators and poisonous snakes. They do warn you with a sign. I don't swim in the murky lakes because you could be standing next to an alligator and not know it. Although I am Reckless by Nature, I do have my limits.
I don't know if my friend is an organ donor. I think everyone should be. I am.

I have since discovered that Juan posted this image on his Facebook page. He received a multitude of comments and likes. He was also told by some to always wear a helmet. I'll remind him.
Thank you, Dan
