A few inches of new snow on the ground but lots of food available at the National Bison Range today. Great day for deer pictures. Not so good for birds and bison.. Canon 7D 400mm L lens.

A couple of very nice images, Dave. Nailed the focus and exposure beautifully (I see that you spot metered).
On teh second one, I'd be tempted to take out those couple of hairs just below the animals right eye. That darker vignette-type effect along the top of the frame is a bit distracting maybe.
