    Mystery bits

I acquired these bits in a box lot. I have no idea what camera the hood and filter holder is from or even if it is complete. The round things are a mystery.

If anyone knows I'd be interested to find out. If anyone wants the bits they are free but buyer pays postage. There are wallets for the filters.

The 'round' things are step up or step down rings Bob. Typical use for say a 77mm CPL to be stepped down using the rings to enable it to be used on a lens with a smaller thread.

The square plastic/glass are ND/GND (neutral density) filters.

It reminds me of a graduated filter kit from Cokin I used a very long time ago, but the silvery surfaces confuse me. My set was all black, filter holder was black plastic. The rings appears to be for adapting the filter holder to various lens filter threads from 49mm up to 82mm. The conical part looks like a step down from the rings to the filter holder.

The thin black ring looks like a reversing ring to me, but I can't decide on the mount. The other black ring may be an extension ring.

    Thanks Grahame and Odd,

I'll put them back in the box.
