    Glassware + Reflections

In this shot, I worked to include a lot of reflected elements as seen on the black acrylic sheet all the pieces were sitting on.

I think I would like to see one with all the reflection.

Roy beat me to it, Manfred - I too was wondering why you had cut off part of the reflection.
    Wonderful lighting, colours and shapes.

Roy / Phil - the reason that I cut off the bottom was for both compositional and practical purposes.

My sheet of Plexiglas is not super large, but I should be able to get more in if I just shoot shorter glasses.

I also find that I like the visual balance the way it is, but next time I shoot I will try for getting the whole reflection to see how that works out.

IMHO, the crop at the bottom where it is now creates a nice balance.

I'm sorry but my feeling is that it is like a full length portrait cut off at the calves. I can sense that there is something there and I'd like to now what. I realise that there can't be but if there where a gap between the reflection and the frame, it would help it..

I accept Manfred's explanation that, due to the relative sizes of the glasses and Plexiglas, a complete reflection might not be possible. However, my eyes yearn to see more - for me the image seems incomplete. Nevertheless, to repeat - the lighting, colours and shapes are delightful.
