Absolutely drop-dead gorgeous woman! If it were my image - I'd be very proud of it. However, I think I might crop the bottom a bit. The straight line of her bustline looks a bit awkward to me. I'd crop just above the bustline. But, that is nit-picking a really nice portrait!
Bravo ! A superb portrait
I sort of agree with Richard about the bustline, but I feel the necklace demands that bit of space, cropping the bottom looks wrong to me. However, The fairly sharp contrast between the top of her dress and the highlights on her arm and shoulders does draw the eye away from her face, so I tried darkening down those areas a bit, like a vignette but predominantly at the bottom, and quite like the result.
I've also slightly increased the mid tone contrast on her eyes.
Hope you dont mind me tinkering with your photo.
Wow.. thanks,, I really appreciate your opinion
Wonderful portrait Javier. Can you share the details of how you lit her ?
Composition excellent, the fame i full. The lighting is spot on, tonal range is great. All combined a terrific capture.
Another strong image you should be quite happy with, Javier.
Again some thoughts about some minor issues. The first is shooting dark skin; the hot spots on the shoulders are a bit distracting and David's edit is quite effective. A bit of a hot spot there is good as it does result in good balance. The bust line that Richard points out is a little bit distracting and again, David's retouching has worked very well there.
I find the earrings a bit too hot and distracting. Those are areas that I might consider burning down a touch too. Building on David's edit, I might move in this direction:
Just great!
+1 to what David said/did.
I love what David did. Much better idea than cropping. There is a gray hotspot on her left shoulder. I wonder how to et rid of it - if getting rid of it is at all necessary. Great image again... Do you have any more of this lovely lady?
Another fine portrait, I like the eye contact, but I still prefer the first one.
I do not like this quite as much as the first posting. I am not a fan of the flat of a hand being prominent in a portrait.
