    Valentine's Day Dogs

Our daughter is on a trip to Florida and we are minding her three dogs. We sent her this Valentine's Day image...

I tried to get all three dogs to look directly at me but, this was the best of numerous tries.

Excellent picture! How did you get the 3 to look in the same direction?

I keep up a conversation with them and often use a squeak toy to attract their attention. The dogs are also very used to me. Of course shooting about ten shots is another thing.

David Bailey used the same technique I believe

    Seriously though, a lovely photo.

Another shot of the three dogs

Thanks - they are really well behaved and trained dogs. We presently have eight dogs with us. Five of our own and three of our daughter's dogs whom we mind when she travels. They are all rescues and we fostered our daughter's three dogs before she adopted them, so they are used to us.
What's remarkable is that we can feed all eight at one time and each waits for us to put down his or her bowl. No squabbles or stealing from another dog's bowl. A bit of anxious barking but no food squabbles.
What I did do in PP was to us use the content aware move tool to shift the dog at camera right a bit closer to the other two.

Here is another shot of these three dogs that I did for my daughter's 2021 Christmas Card.

And here is my 2018 Christmas card dog image.

Sadly, Holly passed away about two years ago. We miss her greatly.

Serena now has the job of protecting our smaller dogs.

    And protecting our chickens.
