Autumn Colours, Little Prickly Pear Creek
Captured this past autumn in Montana.
The creek is a tributary of the Missouri River and runs along the flank of the Big Belt Mountains.
Excellent fly fishing for brown and rainbow trout.

Maybe add some midtone contrast. Given the histogram, I'd do this by pulling down the shadows, while anchoring the upper mids only a bit below where they are now.

I initially thought this image looked a bit 'flat' but the lightbox view shows a lot more contrast and looks much better than the basic view.

Dan, appreciate you illustrating your suggestions. Although a curve was used in my edits, your example does have merit.
