Hello Jim, Nice close-up. Too bad the top got clipped. I cropped and cloned out part of the bird and added a lightroom filter. This is the way I see it though not necessarily an improvement. You can alter an image to suit your taste or leave it as taken. Some filters produced interesting results, almost making it look like a prehistoric creature.

Thanks Daniel, I think that the cloning and slight crop work, so have also done so. Additionally, I have worked on the beak which was not quite what I remember. Added a little saturation, plus a bit more of sharpening. I did sharpen first time around, but whilst the feathers seem okay, the beak was not quite there. What Lightroom filter did you use please?
I know that I will not be able to enter it in a "nature" topic.

Very nice, Jim. I particularly like the twinkle you put in its eye. That really kicked it up. Not sure which filter or what adjustment I made.
