Some street photos taken during the Adelaide Fringe Festival

The Adelaide Fringe Festival has just finished and it was a wonderful time to be out and about indulging in a bit of street photography. These images were taken in and around Rundle Mall in Adelaide just at sunset.
The Mall runs in an east-west direction and so the sunlight flooded along the length of the mall and also reflected up from the pavement providing some wonderful light for photography.

All of these images were taken with a Canon 5D Mark iv camera and a Canon 70 - 200mm f/2.8 using the available light

    C & C welcome

Thank you for your kind words.
It was a good evening for street photography with perfect light for almost an hour. The lady you mentioned was sitting outside in the Mall relaxing with her blue haired friend. I suspect she was due to perform in some outrageous show held in "The Garden of Unearthly Delights," as I saw her walking in that direction later in the evening. Here is the uncropped version of the image showing the whole scenario in which she was captured.

Thank you David. The thing that I like about "just passing by" is that the direction of the lighting in the background poster is similar to the lighting on the two passers by. I didn't notice this until afterwards. Sometimes you get lucky.
