This one doesn't seem to work all that well for me, Flashback. The black space on the right has a rectangular shape that takes up a third of the image is distracting to me. Perhaps a tighter crop-centered or off-center could be a possibility to explore. This is just how I see it.
I showed the image to my wife; she liked it and said it was cool.

I had never noticed that black rectangle on the right and now that I see it...well, I can't un-see. I'll have to go back and look at the original file and see if there's any web on the right had that I can pull out to break up that rectangle.
    thanks for the input,

Sorry, it doesn't work for me either. An interesting idea, but there isn't enough there there. The detail fills only a small part of the image, and the tonal range is very small.

I suspect that cropping square or even 4 x 5 ratio would have more impact but this looks like a good rather sinister image to me. A bit more fine detail is visible when viewed with the Light Box option.

Hence the title dark web, as in...the underbelly of the internet.
I'm going to see if I can pull up a bit more detail
