Helpful Posts: Red and white tulip backlit by a low sun in late afternoon while the rest of the garden was in deep shade. This is also my first test of the denoise feature of Lightroom. It did an excellent job of removing the high iso noise.

Striking. If you hadn't told me it was red I would have guessed...
I have now used the AI denoise option in LR twice and have been very pleased with the results. Rather slow but worth the wait.

Hey, I can state the obvious as well as anybody else...
Having had a second look after a good night sleep, I now think that I should probably open up the shadows.
On my desktop computer, denoise took 6 minutes which seems like an eternity when you are waiting for it to finish.

Nice, but the blown highlights distract.
In the case of flowers with a glossy surface, including some tulips, a CPL sometimes helps with this problem.
