Hello, Manfred.
I'm spending my time in a cabin in the forest that gets beautiful light—no internet service, so I can only go online every few days or so. I was struck by the lighting coming through the bathroom window, got my camera, and shot what was there.
Thank you for your comment and illustration. Your crop has given me much to think about. And yes, the color cast can use some attention. Much appreciated. Daniel
I enjoy shooting in locations where I am quite isolated from the rest of the world for a few days as it removes all kinds of external stressors that can impact my work.
I had that opportunity when I was in some really remote areas of India last January and February and found it quite inspiring to work in those conditions.
My reaction to the colour cast was positive: warm, comforting light, very late in the day. Having said that, I suppose a slight reduction in the colour cast would probably work.
A subject with many layers of interest, absorbing and absorbent, soft and gentle, but perhaps strongest at the perforations.
(OK...I'll get my coat.)
