The air defense squadron: 4 ready to take off and 2 reserves

I was doing a test with my Canon SX50 HS, when I saw these six birds in defense formation. They were feeling like the kings of the mountain and the war cries echoed! Woe to a hawk that ventured to fly nearby.
Critiques and comments are welcome, as always.

In time: my camera failed the test.

Looks good to me. A slight crop from top and bottom with a 3 x 2 ratio would put more emphasis on the birds but I rather like seeing that extra sky.

    Daniel,
    Thanks so much for commenting!

Glad to know that my photo made you smile! Indeed, whoever reads the title "The air defense squadron: 4 ready to take off and 2 reserves" must think that it is a photo of military fighter jets ready for an interception mission and is surprised by the image of six small birds!
However, the title contains some truth. These birds (great kiskadees) defend their territory bravely against birds of prey, even when they are alone.

These pictures, which I took a few years ago, show a great kiskadee attacking a hawk.

    Geoff,
    Thanks so much for commenting!
As I wrote, I took this picture just to test my superzoom camera. I didn't intend to publish it, but I liked the composition so much that I changed my mind and published it under the first title that came to my mind at the time I took the picture.
I liked your suggestion and made a crop with a 3 x 2 ratio that is shown below.

    Antonio,

Nice image of the "Kiskadee squadron" and I also liked your record of the kiskadee attacking the hawk. Well done and thanks for sharing!
