Some shots from my father's farm

Hi. I spent some days with my parents in our family farm. They live in a large city but usually spend the weekends in our small family farm. As I was visiting them, I enjoyed the opportunity to take some time out of the noisy city ambient; I am sharing some images. Hope you like them. C&C welcomed. Kindest regards.

They all look good to me. A pity about those out of focus stems above the chicks but you couldn't do much about that issue.

Hi, Geoff. Thanks for viewing and commenting. I appreciate your feedback. Indeed, the blurred stems affect the last shot but they were too close to the nest and I didnt want to frighten the newborn chicks.

Hi, Dan. Thanks for the reply. I was lucky with many birds opportunities there.

I of course, will favor the loyal farm dog photo.
All are superb, but nothing beats a capture of a gorgeous pup.

I really liked your photos, especially #1 (buff-necked ibis) and #4 (a dove during "landing procedure"). It looks like a dove attacking its prey: a small piece of bread! 😂😂

Hello, Antônio! Thanks for viewing and commenting. #1 is an image I can say I'm proud of. The Ibis passed by quite close, the light was horizontal, the sky was clear, I was in the right position, the autofocus did its job, so it was one of the opportunities one have to grab! I was there for that, afterall...

    Abraço!
