Opticks
I've been working on this one for some time now - an image that uses the optical properties of water and glass to refract multiple images of the out of focus stemware in the background. I'm not sure if I'm quite there yet, so am looking for thoughts and comments.
We see complete or partial views of the champagne flutes in the glass sphere, stem of the glass (as well as the reflection of the stem on the Plexiglas along the bottom) and in the water above the sphere. Clicking on the image and getting it open in Lightbox shows the glasses and their reflection in the stem quite nicely.
The title of the piece is Issac Newton's 1704 book on optics: "Opticks - A Treatise of the Reflexions, Refractions, Inflexions and Colours of Light". Kind of fitting, I think...

Re: Opticks
Oh, clever stuff. Those reflections are gorgeous.
What's next, apples and gravity ?

Re: Opticks
I like it very much. There is a yellow line, top right corner inside of front glass also a red line right outside of glass.
Maybe the lines are where they should be but the yellow line in particular spoils it.
Cheers Ole
