I will be honest Javier, this kind of portrait is not really my cup of tea.

But the execution, to me, is superb....well done.

Overall, a very strong and well executed image. It works well.

I have two minor issues with it; in portraits I generally find they work more effectively if they have a very slight warm (yellow / red) colour cast, especially on the skin (2% - 5%). The background, especially the top left corner is slightly distracting and a little too busy.

Manfred, thank you for your opinion, always very accurate and valuable. However, I have a question, on my PC the skin color has a slight yellow cast, could it be that it is not well calibrated if you tell me that it should have a warmer color? Do you see the photo in cold tones?

Javier - I am looking at these on an Adobe RGB compliant screen that has been calibrated and profiled, so the colours are reasonably accurate.

The differences can be subtle and my view here is subjective, so you may have a different view of what works for you and what does not. The colours are close, so a difference in screens could be the underlying reason here.

On my screen, which has been calibrated to sRGB for internet use, the image is fractionally on the blue side.

This is more the direction I might take this image. One the skin tones have been changed. I might have overdone the warm tones a bit, depending on your screen.

I also like this portrait very much with one small objection. The tattoo on her right hand really attracts my attention to the detriment of the rest of the image.

Very nice portrait Javier. Regarding the colour, I also feel that your original version is a bit cool and I prefer the warmer tone of Manfred's version. My screen is calibrated.
