Sometimes I've been tempted to carry some sort of weapon to get rid of anyone in the way of a potential photograph. I expect one day to read about a mass murder carried out by a photographer whose patience ran out....
Nice peaceful shot in spite of it being a potential murder scene...

A very nice postcard shot indeed!
People have a way of doing what you say and you can either try to wait until they move or use the power of post-processing to eliminate them. Of course, some might say, leaving a few folks in the shot can add life to it.
