Orthographic Views - Braun KM-32
My wife and daughter were out for most of the day, so I decided to photograph something other than glass. I have just finished reading a book on Bauhaus and on Dieter Rams, who was the head of design at Braun for many years.
My wife and I have a Braun KM-32 mixer (a wedding present) that is still in use today, many decades after we received it. It's a bit worse for wear and I thought I would photograph it using traditional engineering orthographic views - straight on front, top and side views.
I used three studio lights - two on either side of the subject, bounced off the white ceiling and a third one, with a 150cm / 5-foot white bounce umbrella right behind the camera. These give a very soft, non-directional light that seems to work well on this type of subject.

Nice series, especially the first two with the splash of green. Great job on the lighting.
