Aggressive Hummingbird
I shot this tiny hummingbird through my kitchen window. The bird has been very aggresssive and chases other hummers away from this feeder. I think that it might be a Rufous Hummingbird but, I am not sure. The general size, coloring and aggressiveness seem to indicate that breed.

Re: Aggressive Hummingbird
Excellent photo, particularly considering the shooting difficulties.

Re: Aggressive Hummingbird
This was a grab shot using the crop sensor 70-350mm lens on my A73 camera. My wife doesn't like selective focus but, I think that it isolates the tiny bird from the BG. I had to run back to my office and get the camera/lens. The battery on my A6600 was dead so I slipped the lens on my A73.
I shot this on manual at 1/250 second, f/6.3 with auto ISO which gave me ISO 4,000.
We have learned that this hummer is an endangered species. We are quite fortunate to have our own resident Rufous Hummingbird.
