You have done well to capture the stone in flight but his hand has a bit of motion blur; although some people like to see slight blur because it conveys a sense of motion.

Geoff, I agree with your comment. I wanted to capture the rock and the water in flight. I'm unsure if I would prefer his hand without blur. I also wanted to show the dynamic motion of his body. I am a pretty good rock skimmer. This guy was a professional. He carefully selected each rock he skimmed and they flew across the river. I was on the opposite side of the river with a 500 mm bird lens when I came across him. This was the best of the ones I took. For me it's a "street shot" but on a river.
