Damselfly Comma and a Hover

That Damselfly looks like one of the Demoiselle species but it requires a side view of the wings to be sure. In the UK there are only two species of Demoiselle but males and females are slightly different

And my guess for the hoverfly would be a female Syrphus ribesii.
