This is a mini competition and it is open to all CiC members. It has an 'open' theme - any subject at all.

Post your entry (B&W are allowed as well as colour) image in a new post below. Please change your post title to a name for your picture) (Click the "Go Advanced" button).

When we get 10 images a Mod will attach a voting poll, and any member may vote on it.

After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared.

Limit of 1 image per post, and 2 image posts per person.

If there are already 10 in the current comp, please start a new thread and copy this text.

Lit mainly by candles with the exception of dimmed room light to soften shadows.

These carvings were sculpted on granite in this Temple (Harihar, karnataka, India) over a 1000 years ago during the reign of the Hoysala Dynasty.

The system does some "weird" maths with the multiple choice polls. Personally, I don't like it, but unfortunately, that's the way they do it

Hi Wendy,

I think he's referring to the fact that if you add up all the percentages, you get more than 100. it's really showing the percentage of people who voted for any particular image.

That's the way I took it so I guess the question to ask is 12 is 42.86% of x and solve for x to see how many actual votes were made by the 28 voters. Is that how it works?
