    Nicely seen and captured, almost moving in the direction of abstract.

    I feel that you have made a good start, but the large areas of dark (shadow) could be opened up to bring out more textures and the brighter highlights, especially the sky could use some toning down. My eyes are drawn to the buildings that are lighter towards the centre of the image.

    I've played around with it for a few minutes and get this:

    That does look better. I need to better learn the tools in my software (which is not Photoshop or Lightroom).

    Most of the photo editing software I have seen / used has similar functionality. These are fairly basic functions...

    Changes of this nature like I've done, can significantly alter the impact of an image.
    The curved lines of the building to the right appear more harmonious, but it's undoubtedly a matter of personal preference.

    Thanks. While there are benefits to your mirroring the image (because we're trained to read L-to-R), I prefer to keep the architecture as it actually is.
