I have been MIA for a few years. Now I am hoping to pick up my camera again on a regular basis. We have moved from the city to an island in Puget Sound. I was used to urban images but now have little access to that genre. It will be interesting to see where my eye goes.

I look forward to enjoying the images and commentary I have found so useful in the past.

Very nice, Judith. I like the colors and the abstract effect. At first, I thought cropping 25% off the right and intensifying the colors a bit would be something I would do if it were mine. Now I see the right side as adding interest to the image. I like it.

Snow scenes can be difficult to work well but this one looks good to me. Worth clicking on the image to see the higher resolution alternative with a lot more fine detail and contrast.
