Smoke + Gobo

I finally had a chance to play around with some gear that I had picked up over the past number of months.

This continues with my glass photography, but with a gobo positioned behind the glass sphere lighting it individually and in this shot I went a bit wide to create a bit of a glow around the sphere. I had been using gelled lights on a reflector in the past, but here I have two small soft boxes with gells to create a softer light with a more subtle gradient.

Finally, I gave my new smoke generator a real workout, as it puts out a lot denser smoke than my old one.

This is quite abstract, so won't be to everyone's taste, but I think the tools have potential...
