OK, I know, a bit of a corny title (stolen from the famous duet by Willie Nelson and Julio Iglesias).
Being the end of the year, I thought I'd post some (mostly) never before seen shots from some of my shoots throughout the year. Hopefully some may find it inspirational - I sure as heck found it perspirational! (most shoots are pretty hard work) - but mostly I'd like it to just be a showcase & personal tribute to these wonderful girls, whom I've had the privilage of working with this year ...
So without further ado, say hello to The Girls of 2010
(Please feel free to chip in with any questions or comments).
PS: I'm feeling a bit lazy, so I've processed all of this with a mild "soft focus" look (to save me having to retouch a LOT of skin!).

Ashley
First up, my wonderful friend Ashley. It's been a big year for her - turned 16 (for the first time!) - got her drivers licence - got a new boyfriend and STILL she found the time to model for me - send me lots of texts - help out in the studio - and even go makeup shopping with me (supplies for the studio, so don't go getting excited folks!).
You're awesome girl (and you know it!)

Laura
Next we have Laura ...
Laura is a friend of Ashleys, and had never modeled before ... but now she's really keen for more. She's obviously stunning, but a really nice person too - and very easy to work with.
Looking forward to working with you again in the new year Laura!

Seema
Say hello to Seema, best friend of Laura. Seema really just came to help Laura during her shoot, but we got some nice shots of her too.
Hope you're enjoying that trip back to the states! (and I'm sure Laura has forgiven you for the little "hairspray incident")!

Kirsten
Like most folks, Kirsten came to the studio somewhat nervous -- and a couple of hours wanted to move in and live there (unfortunately, there's a waiting list). A tough year for Kirsten and I never thought we'd get her in for a shoot ... but she made it in anyway, despite my daughter's best attempts to put her off!
A somewhat different shot of Kirsten, but one she thought was "cool" (and who am I to argue!)

Kayla
Kayla came along to a shoot with Ashley earlier on in the year. Slightly nervous at first, and now wanting to help "get into modeling" in a bigger way ... I hope I can help!
Kayla has what I think must be the most beautiful blue eyes that I've ever seen.
Thanks for the "Merry Christmas" text on Christmas day Kayla ... looking forward to working with you in the new year!

Skylah used to like next door until they moved away ... and then sometime later moved back into the same street where her and her sister are again, regular visitors.
We love having her visit ... just thank goodness it's no longer at 6:15 every morning! (I am SO not a morning person!)

Elysha is the step-daughter of my friend John. She seems more grown up every time I see her (which isn't often). She's recently moved to Australia to be with her surgeon partner.

Juinita is Skylah's cousin - I brought her and Cheyenne and Geneva (and one of my daughters) into the studio for a "spur of the moment" shoot on a Sunday night. Man oh man is trying to control 4 young girls hard work!

Geneva is a friend of Junita and Cheyenne's and completes the "Trilogy of Terror" inflicted on that Sunday night shoot.
She doesn't like this shot, but everyone else does ... which I have to say is pretty normal

Emma is an old friend of the family, and ended up being a somewhat "unintentional model" one night when I popped down to a local place of interest to capture a nice sunset (she was there - alone - at sundown - waiting for her boyfriend ... ahem!) (who didn't show up!).
