    Cloudbust - Diamonds

    Trying something with a third light with a snoot. I've introduced a a small circle of magenta gelled light behind the diamond sphere to bring a bit of a complementary colour into this set of analogous colours. Smoke as before...

    I like this one Manfred. The only opportunity for improvement that strikes me is to bring out the diamonds a bit - that's what the composition is about according to the title but the one on the right is lost in the smoke and the other two could maybe be a bit more forceful?

    The placements of the objects are very balanced. I often wonder if it would not be better if you 'unbalance' a scene a bit to create some tension within the composition.

    Let me show you what I had (SOOC) before I started working to put smoke in the scene.

    The glass is quite visible everywhere and there is asymmetry as well. It is also not all that interesting...
