Building on my experience of my previous post, I decided to go to a two gelled-light approach, but work with a warm, analogous colour scheme (red and yellow). I changed the way i used my smoke machine as well, laying down a base of "dry-ice" look smoke on the black Plexiglas base and then adding a "fog" look higher up.

I spent a lot more time dodging and burning than in my last few pieces to better calm the light.

Hmmm, to my mind Manfred, there's too much going on.

I find the facets of the glass(?) fascinating, the 'dry ice' effect compliments as do the colours and reflections. What I find distracting and (sorry) rather pointless, are the smoke effects left and right.

You have a much larger collection of glass than I.

I agree on the composition being too busy. I fall into the trap of adding more and more subject material to get to a composition that works and I have a lot more glassware in this shot than I normally do.

Is it a bit busy, yes. Does it work for me?
