Interpretive Guide - Hudson's Bay Company Trading Post Sept-Isles
Well our interpretive guide was hardly authentic as everyone working at one of the Hudson's Bay Company trading posts would have been male. A trading post existed on the site as early as the mid-1600s. It was initially run by the French and after the conquest of French Canada, it was taken over by the British.
