Week 42 - Salcombe History Society Meeting. Another of those no win situations - but I had a go anyway. I didn't want to take any bulky camera equipment to this event. It becomes a struggle to look after decent gear all night, particularly when I also have committee duties to perform. So I just had a go with my pocket sized Fuji X20.

At this point I decided to try some different settings but couldn't find my glasses so I accidentally set the camera to auto scene settings. Later on, I realised my glasses were in my shirt top pocket!

After a little bit of editing I was surprised at how well the auto settings had worked.
I'd call the photos a success - no evidence of a less than ideal lighting arrangement.
