Dawn St Monan's Harbour
I wanted to get an early morning shot of the harbour at St Monans but the tides were against me.

Yes, tides and weather often conspire against me; so, nowadays, I always carry a tide table in my wallet.
This was a difficult light angle but it has worked out well.

Re: Dawn St Monan's Harbour
I think it's a pleasant image, but I would keep going.
Here's a very quick edit to show directions I would consider. I did some dodging and burning, removed most of the pole at the left, and cropped. Is any of this things you might want to do?

Thanks Dan. I like what you have achieved with the D&B and crop, and you are right about the pole but I'm keeping it in because of the seaside classic seagull perched on top
