Flower composite
I recently took these photos of flowers around our village, then decided to make them into a composite. Most of them are tulips. The red flower on the right unfortunately has not been properly exposed so I intend to take another in the near future to replace it. Keen to hear feedback and any suggestions.

Re: Flower composite
Sorry Jim, but this collage is not connecting with me.
The underlying concept is fine, but the arrangement itself could be stronger. The four shots of single flowers have potential as a group as they are close enough in hue. The group of flowers doesn’t quite fit from a content and size perspective. I’m not sure why the same image oh heart shaped flowers are included either.

The pattern doesn't work well for me, either. I would rearrange it into a tick-tack-toe pattern and might even add the tick-tack-toe lines. I think that would add interest. If you decide to try it, I want to play. I choose the hearts, and you can go first.

Re: Flower composite
I agree. I would only add that the I find the yellow background a real distraction. I would go with a neutral color, white, black, or some tone of gray. I wouldn't want yellow to compete with the color of the flowers. I would also make the border narrower. I would get rid of the hearts.
I personally find the contrast between the group and the individual shots interesting. However, I would spend some time figuring out what things are best next to others, either because of similarities or because of differences. Just play around and see what grabs your attention.

An interesting idea, Jim. It almost works well for me although I would make the hearts fractionally larger.
