I really like this. You were in an ideal position. The composition works well, and you captured a very interesting facial expression.

I'm curious, however, why you kept it so dark. I assume you want strong contrast between the bright spots and the rest, but one could preserve that while bring up the shadows and lower mid-tones to bring out some of the detail and texture that's now almost lost.
