Does anyone know what this is?






It's a camera stand; which is about 1.8m / 6ft tall and weighs in at 34kg / 75 lbs. It is a lot easier to use for the still life work that I do than a traditional tripod, especially for "flat lay" work. It is traditionally used for large format and medium format camera work.

I'm planning to photograph some Japanese fans this weekend, so I'm looking forward to see how that works out.

some years ago I balked at buying one in an auction.It went unsold ar £3. It was just yo big and heavy.
