    Serenity in Sacred Light

Within the heart of a mosque in Sharm El-Sheikh, this photograph encapsulates a moment of serene reflection. The soft, diffused light spills gently through intricately designed arches, highlighting the model's calm, contemplative expression.
Her face, framed by the simplicity of her hijab and the muted tones of her attire, radiates a sense of inner peace, resonating with the tranquil environment around her.

The rich patterns of the carpet below, vibrant yet harmonious, add depth and warmth, complementing the earthy hues of the stone columns. Each architectural detail, from the geometric carvings to the rounded arches, evokes a sense of timeless beauty and spirituality.

The stillness of the scene, combined with the interplay of light and shadow, creates a deeply meditative ambiance that invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and embrace the quiet reverence of the moment.

Antonio - I like this image a lot. You show the setting, the architecture and the human element nicely in this image.

The lighting here is a bit tricky; with the woman and the left side of the image (floor and column) competing with each other due to the brightness of those areas. I wonder if a hard crop on the left might be worth considering.

I also find that strip of carpet in the foreground drawing too much attention to that part of the image and I suspect burning it down a bit would result in a more balanced image.

I like the way you spotted the woman in that lovely light, but again, I find it needs a bit of subtle adjustment. The face is what draws me, but her hand is quite bright, as are the clothes (around knee level and below) draw a lot of my attention, so I would burn those spots down a touch too.

I do realize that my edits change the character of the image a bit.
