    Frozen beauty

This is a Campanula flower which was pressed then placed in a shallow clear glass tray and frozen.

Pretty, it has a Japanese feel to it I think.

    Really well done, Bill.

What is not quite working for me is the frame, as it competes with the frozen flower too much, for my taste. I wonder if a thin (2 - 5 pixel) mid-gray pinstrip might not be something worth considering. I will provide separation from the background, without competing too much with your subject.

    Thanks David and Manfred.

Here it is with a 5px boundary to the flower image.

+1 to what Geoff and André have written. The last one works best for me to and is what I meant in my comment.

There is a "boundary" to the image without it detracting from the flower, something the original border does.
