    Tapatalk intrusion

For no apparent reason (as in I have not visited their website far less downloaded the app) when I click on any of my recent posts either on the MacBook or iPhone. a window opens with the posted image. It's kind of nice in that it looks good but I am not at all happy as I did not ask for this, did not download the app, and strongly object to what I regard as an unwanted and unethical interference.

I would like to know why it happened and how I can get rid of it.

    Thanks

    Bill,

It's not clear to me what is happening. Do you mean that you have gone to CiC with a browser, clicked on a post, and Tapatalk opens?

It must be a browser setting as it does not happen in Firefox (Safari is my default).

I’m guessing that it’s a Safari extension, but that’s only a guess because I use a pc and therefore use Safari only (and rarely) on my phone and iPad.

    Re: Tapatalk intrusion

Hi Bill, I have occasionally had unwanted pop up windows appear on my MacBook. Here is a solution that I found. Open safari, go to settings, select websites, select notifications then select from the list what you want to stop seeing. Hope this helps.

Thanks Rita. Unfortunately tapatalk (and CIC) are not in the list.
