Chromebook
I have an ASUS Chromebook that is a couple of years old and has bitten the dust.
I use this for general internet surfing and some very light photo work. I will sometimes download photos from my Sony A6600 and then transfer the files to a stand alone hard drive. I don't have any need to do any heavy editing on the Chromebook.
There is an ASUS Chromebook Plus CX3402 (available from Best Buy) with the following specs: 14" Laptop with touchscreen and Google AI - Intel Core i5 1335U - 8GB Memory - 128GB SSD ($349 USD)
There also is another ASUS Chromebook Plus CX34 Laptop Available from Amazon), 14" FHD Touchscreen, Intel Core i5-1335U, 8GB RAM, 256GB Storage (128GB UFS +128GB IST SD Card) ($479 USD)
The difference between these computers seems to be that the Amazon product has 128GB UFS +128GB IST SD Card. I don't understand the difference.
I am wondering if it would be worth getting the unit from Amazon or if the units are the same?

Re: Chromebook
Richard - on the surface, it looks like the Amazon unit has twice the storage of the Best Buy unit; it ships with both 128 of flash drive + a 128 GB SD card (which I assume is removable). The Best Buy unit has a solid state drive built in (which is also some kind of flash memory).
If you have some old memory cards from your cameras kicking around, you could likely just plug those into the Best Buy Chromebook and save yourself some money.
