    Driftwood, Two Medicine Lake.....

Captured along the shore of Two Medicine Lake, Montana, at sunrise.
Located in Glacier National Park the lake it at an elevation of about 5000ft and surrounded by mountains. With the right conditions, the rising sun is reflected from the south face of Rising Wolf mountain, lighting up the surface of the lake. The region is considered sacred by the Blackfoot nation.
    C&C welcome.

Len, it seems your photograph was taken while in motion, wasn’t it?
I tend to enhance the main subject or model by giving it extra brightness, making it stand out in the overall image.

While this isn’t a hard-and-fast rule, I do miss the point sometimes and it’s supposed to be generally my approach, it’s precisely what I noticed when I looked at your image with a bit more attention.

On another note, perhaps it might be a good idea to soften and darken the traces that appear immediately afterwards. What are your thoughts?

This is one of those images where clicking on the image to produce a high quality version really makes a difference. However, I think I would be tempted to try a slight crop from the bottom and right side.

Thanks to Geoff and Antonio for your comments. As Antonio observed there is "motion" in the water which was softened with a slower shutter speed.
