Project 52 Week 9 Back to black
I find it quite a challenge to post something completely new each week, and sometimes revert to something different rather than new. A few weeks ago I posted several images from a cosplay shoot - in colour because that was appropriate for the subject. However in the last few weeks I have been going through my recent images looking for portraits to convert to mono (partly because I had stumbled on my 1964 Canon AE-1 and have set it aside as a reminder to purchase a few rolls of B&W film).
Here's one I like, in spite of the unfortunate shadow at the right (as viewed) of the head.

Looks good to me although I would clone out some of the little spots on his clothing.

Bill, I admire your effort and dedication to this project, especially now that you’ve shared a black and white image.
In this portrait, aside from the small spots that appear here and there on your model’s suit, what strikes me most is that he seems to be leaning forward, even though he appears to be observing some object or scene.
The shadow on his forehead and along the side of his head doesn’t bother me at all, but the angle might benefit from a slight correction.
Nevertheless, it remains a portrait in which the character possesses such personality and charisma, as it even reminds me of a magician or an actor who knows, with that hat and scarf around his neck.
